Hello to all, while Imp is belting out an incomprehensible song about "everyone bowing down to her" (maybe Lion King was not such a good choice for her??), I am trying to catch up on the days that have flown by...
Here is eldest son, with the sunflower he sprouted as a seed back in January.
We all had such fun watching the sunflowers grow and then "harvesting" the seeds. =)
We stopped at a little white rock beach we found on the way back from our turtle watching field trip. That was definitely fun, but we weren't allowed to take pictures when we were out on the beach observing the turtles at night.
Then March rolled into April and we had fun dyeing Easter eggs together.
I thought the purple was particularly pretty. =)
We then held an egg hunt.
If you look closely behind eldest daughter you might spy an egg...
Getting warmer...actually the temperature that morning was well to 100 by 9 am so we had to hustle a little.
Then we proceeded to watch the plus 3 make this lovely bunny cake.
I'm pretty sure eldest son ate his "contributions" while eldest daughter put the cake together. =) Wait for it...
It's a yellow, snaggle-toothed bunny, but he sure was tasty.
All egg hunts and bunny cakes aside, I hope you all had a wonderful, meaning-filled Easter. I don't have pictures of our sunrise service on the beach from that morning, but it definitely made the day more beautiful for us here.
